Donison Zell Beamon MERRILLVILLE, IN - Donison Zell Beamon, age 92, formerly of Merrillville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 in the loving home of his son, Scott Beamon and Angie Cubel in Noblesville, IN. He is also survived by daughters: Christine (Michael) Pluff of Dublin, OH and Sheri (Robert) Seifert of Estero, FL; grandchildren: Shannon (Jeffery) Fischer, Timothy (Danielle) Seifert, Megan (Christopher) Pluff-Oyer, Justin and Paige Beamon; great-grandchildren: Kyle and Kaleigh Fischer and Addison Seifert; many loving nieces and nephews. Donison was preceded in death by his wife, Anna, of 63 years; parents: James and Tressie Beamon; brothers: Melvin, Thomas, and Donald. Donison proudly served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He retired from Budd Co. with 33 years of service, and for 25 years was a dedicated starter at Pheasant Valley Golf Course. He was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at GEISEN FUNERAL, CREMATION & RECEPTION CENTRE, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, Crown Point, IN at 11:00 AM with Pastor Gary Butler officiating.
