1940 ~ 2018
Coralie June Lunt Meiners, the world's loveliest woman in every way, left us on April 7, 2018 and we are heartbroken. Born in Hollywood, CA - which accounted for her movie star looks - on Sept. 19, 1940 to Broughton Kenneth Lunt and Eugenia Kemp Lunt, Coralie spent her first 17 years in Duncan, AZ. She attended Brigham Young University, where, during her freshmen year, she met the love of her life, Donis Grant Meiners, a drummer and dreamer with an infectious zest for living. They married on Oct. 23, 1959 in the LDS Mesa, AZ temple, four months after she had open heart surgery at the hands of pioneering surgeon, Dr. Russell M. Nelson. Coralie was an ardent reader, gardener and classical music appreciator but most of all, she loved people deeply, caring for her seven children, their spouses, 20 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, primary children, friends, neighbors, house plants and pets with equal attention. Her love for her LDS faith and her Savior sustained her through life's challenges, which included three open heart surgeries. She truly lived her religion; serving others came as naturally to Coralie as breathing. We miss her more than words can say, but trust we will see her again, whole and happy. She is survived by her brother Alan Lunt, sisters Danielle Gardner, Linda Spallino; husband Donis; children: Brad Meiners and Crystal Davis, Jody and Toby Hawkins, Tyler Meiners and Kathryn Meiners, Greg and Janica Meiners, Jeff and Bridget Meiners, Cristy Meiners, Robynn and Dan Garfield. Viewing, Tuesday, April 10, 7 p.m.-9 p.m., Russon Brothers Mortuary, Bountiful. Funeral service, Wednesday, April 11, 11 a.m., viewing 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m Mueller Park Stake Center, 1800 E. Mueller Park Rd., Bountiful, Utah.

Coralie was one of the most dedicated people to he family that ok know. Her health was not good but I never heard a word of complaint from her. She loved her family deeply.

Oh Cristy! I'm so sorry you lost your beautiful, sweet mother! She truly is one of a kind. I will remember her smile and her great softness and grace. She was so good to our family and we have been so lucky to have her in our lives. You have been a lovely daughter to her! I hope your memories stay clear and strong and that she will visit you in your dreams as my mother visits me. I love you Cristy.

Our daughter, Bridget, is married to Jeff Meiners. I have learned over the years that I can learn a lot about my son-in-law by getting to know his parents. I quickly learned that Coralie was very devoted to her husband and all of her children. She loved them unconditionally and completely. I don't think she knew how to spell criticism let alone use it. I suspect that applied to her friends as well. I found initially the most difficult thing about Coralie was how to pronounce her name. At my daughter's wedding reception I was in the position in the receiving line to introduce Coralie to each guest. After struggling, and asking Donis about 4 times, he very slowly said Cor-a-lee. She never flinched once as I struggled but Donis made it clear to me, finally. She surely was a good and faithful servant of Heavenly Father and will live on with and through Donis and their children.

To the Dear Meiner's family: You already know what an angel your mother is but that makes it all the more difficult for us to let her go. I could go on forever telling of all her service and kindnesses but it was the unconditional love that I will never forget. Truly extraordinary and rare! I miss her already and the world is just not as good a place without our beloved Coralie. We shared so many wonderful talks with our swim group and became so close. I'm thankful for those dear times and the many ways she helped me to become a better person. And she was so proud of all of you and loved you dearly! May her incredible faith rub off on you at this time to give you the comfort that the gospel of Jesus Christ can only bring. Al and I love all of you and pray for you daily at this tender time. Love
