Fink, Jon D. "Santa Man" Saginaw, Michigan Loving son, brother and significant other passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at home. Age 57 years. The son of William C. Fink and the late Shirley (Spaeth) Fink, Jon was born on February 19, 1961 in Saginaw, Michigan. Jon graduated from Arthur Hill High School Class of 1979. Jon was formerly employed as an Usher for the Saginaw Civic Center, Truck Driver, Delivery Driver for the Saginaw News and Snow plowed. Jon's favorite holidays, Halloween and Christmas, led to his participation in local community activities; he dressed as Wolfie for the Saginaw Blood Bank Haunted House and dressed as Santa Claus. He would take his big homemade bag filled with toys and treats for the little ones. Jon loved children. Surviving besides his significant other, Susan Pasternak are his father, William Fink; his siblings, Diane Maturen and Donn (Alice) Fink; his Godchildren, Amanda Schempf, Mollie Siebertz, James Northouse and Michaela Northouse; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Carmen Pasternak and Frank Wendell; and his furrbaby, Shadow. Jon was preceded in death by his brother, Michael (Mary) Fink; his sister, Barbara Schempf and his nephews, Alex Scheib and Jason Fink. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Amy Terhune will officiate. Honoring Mr. Fink's wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the wishes of the family.
