Mr. Nick, the kids & I will miss you very much! We enjoyed getting to know you as our neighbors and you took to the kids so fast and so well. Everytime we doggie-sat for Chuck you insisted on bringing us a great big watermelon or some other bag of fruit. I don't think we'll ever eat watermelon again without thinking of you. You were always cooking or baking something and bringing leftovers over for us to sample. Not too long ago, Jordan & I stopped over to visit and you invited us to stay for dinner. You cooked up a wonderful meal right outside on the grill so we could all visit together while it cooked. You were so hospitable and you took such good care of Esther too. Many times I heard you calling her in for dinner. You were a loyal friend with lots of simple wisdom when I came to you with any sort of problem that needed talked out. We are really going to miss you!! You were golden!! I'm going to look for a husband just like you because I love what I saw between you & Esther. You were truly a GOOD MAN Mr.Nick! Until we meet again...

I shall remember Uncle Nick (who was also my Godfather) every Christmas when I bake Hungarian Pastries. He came over to my house back in 1993 when he was visiting Dad here in Plymouth. We baked all day! He introduced me to a easier dough recipe that I use all the time now. He certainly loved to bake and cook.
I also have fond memories of him at my Wedding in 1973. He was the one on the dance floor banging on a soup pot with a wooden spoon to get people to do the dollar dance! It was such a funny sight!
To my cousin Nick, my deepest sympathy goes out to you. The loss of a parent is devastating. Hang onto the wonderful memories. That is what keeps me going.
To Esther, you were such a light in Uncle NIck's life! God Bless you for coming into his life and making him so happy.
Much Love to all of you, LuAnn and Russ Briggs

Many memories with Uncle Nick that I will never forget - the holiday gatherings including him, Uncle Joe, Aunt Yolanda, Aunt Martha, Uncle Elmer, my cousins and parents, Uncle Nick and Aunt Theresa visiting out east in the early 80's and especially cooking szalonna next to Grandpa's garage - all great times.
Our deepest sympathy to Aunt Esther, cousin Nick and family, GOD bless you and may his memory be eternal.
