I remember this sweet man...we were neighbors at College and Church streets during our high school years. I often think of those times. I loved Duwain (who wouldn't!), his brother and sister, and his precious parents. May the family left behind find comfort and peace while dealing with this difficult loss...

I haven't seen my Uncle in 27 years. I remember him as a 'gentle giant.' He was very tall and very sweet. He used to take me outside and play with me and his beagles. Those are the moments I remember with him. And, I was lucky enough to speak with him on the phone in the last year. He was just as gentle a giant as I remembered him. To Roberta, I'm so very sorry for your loss. To Wendi and Wade, I'm so glad that you both had such a wonderful father in your lives, and I hope that your memories of him will give you peace.
