Thomas Reichmuth Obituary

Thomas E. Reichmuth passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2010, following a courageous battle with cancer and surrounded by his loved ones. Tom was 62 years of age. Tom grew up in Lockeford, CA and at the age of 17 enlisted into the Navy and served 2 tours in Vietnam. Tom received a purple heart & other medals in his honor. After his second tour, Tom returned to Lockeford, CA and met Carolyn Heinz. Tom and Carolyn married and started their family in Lodi. They had a son, Andy Reichmuth and daughter Victoria Bock. Tom retired in 2005 after a long career at Lodi Iron Works. In 2008, after 39 years of marriage, Carolyn passed away.
Tom moved to Rancho Murieta where he met and married his love, Gayle Wilson on August 15, 2009. Tom loved his family more than life itself. Tom also loved his friends, traveling, golfing, the ocean, fishing, barbequing and life in general. Tom will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His memory, however, will always be with us.
Tom is survived by his wife, Gayle. His son, Andy and daughter Vickie (Kevin). Granddaughters, Sierra and Alice. Stepchildren Erich Wilson (Julie) and Kim Perotti, grandchildren Alyssa, Sienna, and Dylan. A brother, Bill (Jan), sister, Virginia, niece, Katy, sister and brother-in-law Sharla and Lonnie Trillo, and many cousins and friends.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at Cherokee Memorial at Hwy 99 & Harney Lane in Lodi, on September 19 at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

I have soo many memories of Tom, Carol and all the Reichmuth family. You have all been my family also and it makes me so sad that this has happened. I can't even begin to tell all the memories as a little girl I have of us all being together for all the holidays and how much fun we would have. This news has been very sad for me.
