Dear Dustye,
I remember working with you at USAA in Sacramento. What I remember is your gentle and kindly nature. I moved back to Australia and when I tried to locate you, it was too late. I'm saddened and shocked that you are no longer here. I know you are in heaven. I'm very blessed to have known you.

I worked with Dustye at Borders in Elk Grove. I have been thinking about her a lot over the last several months. I have not talked to her for a few years and decided to try and get in touch with her. I had no idea she had passed away. She was such a kind and gentle person with such a beautiful soul. I remember our many conversations. She had a lot of wisdom and insight. I have been battling cancer for many years and she was so supportive when I would talk to her. I'm so sorry that I was not able to talk with her again. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family.

To Colleen, Mike, Nate and Chris,
My nephew and I were going through Galt today and I told him I would like to look up an old freinds, Colleen and family. He looked up the last name and found this site stating that Dustye had died. I found the house and left a note and I hope I found Colleen's house in Lodi and also left a note. Although I was a teenager to young twenties that I knew her, I always had fond memories of her. She treated me very well and even spent evenings with her and Mike even if Colleen wasn't around. She was a great person. I just wish I had decided to look them up sooner. Jeff Alley, Elk Grove, CA

Dustye was my mother's best friend and soul sister and I got lucky enough to become her soul sister also. It was very hard not to be with her in the last hours of her life, I was there in my heart and she knew it. She is a strong loving woman with amazing wisdom. Even now, she showers her family and friends with all of the spiritual blessings she has to give. To her family who sacrificed and cared for her during her transition, you were amazing! We should all be so lucky when our time comes.

Dustye my friend, I have no doubt our paths will continue to cross.

You are in my heart, my soul and spirit. You are my sister and always will be. I will miss you. God bless you and may you become an angel for all people who need a gentle healing spirit to guide them.
Heart felt love, hugs, kisses, smiles, laughter, ferris wheels and all the earthly things that I can give you for you to be happy, I throw up in the air to shower you, surrounding you, bringing you joy and wonder.
I will miss you, your sister,
Cristye
