Erma Jean Wahl

1929 - 2010

Erma Jean Wahl, of Lodi, passed away on October 5, 2010, at the age of 81 in Lodi. Mrs. Wahl was born in North Dakota on September 27, 1929, to Fred and Martha (Schlenker) Nitschke. At the age of three, she moved to Lodi with her family. She was a beautician in Lodi for at least 61 years. She enjoyed cooking, music and dancing, and when she was younger, she enjoyed singing. She was also a long-time member of Fairmont Seventh-day Adventist Church. Erma is survived by her son, Randy Wahl of Lodi; four grandsons, Joshua, Joby, Eric and Casey Wahl; one great-grandchild to be born soon; sister, Marlene (Robert) Jones of Lodi; nieces, Debra Sproul and Tami Tuttle; and nephew, Steven Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Wahl in 1989, and her son, Rick Wahl in December of 2009. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Cherokee Memorial Park on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. There is no visitation.
