Lydia Perman

1915 - 2010

Lydia Perman, 94, passed away peacefully October 11, 2010, at home. Mrs. Perman was born November 5, 1915, in Washburn, North Dakota to Jacob and Fredericka Keszler. Lydia was married to Arthur John Perman on June 1, 1936. Art and Lydia moved to Lodi, California in 1939. She was a member of the Fairmont Seventh-day Adventist Church and enjoyed sewing, golfing, knitting, fishing, and baking. Lydia loved anything that involved her family; her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the babies, her great-great-grandchildren. She lived a remarkable life and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and "Oma." She was a great example of Christianity, and we will never forget how wonderful she made all of us feel. You will truly be missed. Lydia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Monte and Sharon Perman; sons-in-law, Robert Friday and John Truscott; grandchildren, Terri and Greg Busby, Michelle and Fred Habenicht, Julie and Darin Martin, Susie Friday and Barry Thornton, Greg and Theresa Bui Friday, Brenda and Tim Mc Glathery; great-grandchildren, Amy Branson and Corey Branson, Eric Habenicht and Ryan Habenicht, Alex Martin, Shea Martin and Ian Martin, Jackson and Caroline Bui Friday; great-great-grandchildren, Jackson and Emma Simonsen. Lydia was preceded in death by her husband, Art Perman; children, Connie Friday and Helen Truscott; sisters, Martha Gohl, Rose Williams, Hilda Schwartz; and brother, Emil Keszler. Family and friends are invited to visit Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 17th, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Committal will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park.
