Anna Baumbach Obituary

Nadine Baumbach went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 22, 2010, at the age of 88. Anna Nadine Baumbach was born February 28, 1922, in Fall River, Kansas. She came to California in 1929. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lodi since the early 1960's, where she was very active in various women's ministries. She was also active in Lodi Christian Women's Club. She enjoyed sewing, needle work, gardening and reading. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Baumbach is survived by her sons, Paul (Stephanie) Baumbach of Sonoma; Dale (Peggy) Baumbach of Acampo, and Glen (Angie) Baumbach of Palmdale; daughters, Dana (Robert) Schaberg of Kentfield and Debra (Michael) Georguson of Lodi; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Bill (Helen) Sims and Bob Sims, both of Sacramento. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary (Violet) Sims; husband, Robert Clarum Baumbach; and two sisters, Pauline Pate and Donna Durrer. Friends are invited to visit Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 26th at 11:00 a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park with Pastor Steve Newman officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Baumbach's name to First Baptist Church, 267 N. Mills Avenue, Lodi, CA 95242 or donor's choice. A virtual register book may be signed at www.lodifuneralhome.com where memories can be shared. Lodi Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Paul, Dana, Glen, Dale, and Debbie,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. I have such a flood of wonderful memories of Aunt Nadine and Uncle Bob as a child. It was so nice to see you after all these years. I'm so sorry that it took a funeral to bring us together again. How exciting to know that we will see her again in heaven! With much love,
Your cousin, Patti
