Dear Ernie Jr. and family,
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Last week you brought your dad to our home so he could say "hi" and check up on Steve's condition. You have now idea how much his visit warmed Steve's heart. To think of what Ernie was going through and still thinking of and showing concer for others that are ill. It is an honor to have been his friend!!!
Love and friendship,
Steve and Sharon Mindt

Dear Jan, Ernie, Donna, Sharon, Doris and family,
I want to share my deepest sympathy with you all at the loss of your father, grandfather, great-grandfather and to many of us, dear friend. I was aware he was ill, but I knew he wanted to be there to take care of your Mom. Now their spirits have been reunited and there is no pain. God blessed him with a wonderful family and a beautiful life. And God bless you taking such good care of him. My arms reach out to hug and comfort you all...be strong. He left such a wonderful legacy...all of you!

Dear Jan, Ernie, Donna, Sharon, Doris and family, Your Dad was the greatest!! I sincerely think he missed Marilyn so much he needed to be with her in spirit. Sometimes souls are so closely knit, you just know in your heart, they are meant to be together, and your folks were that way. My heart goes out to you all for your loss. I so wish I could be there for you as you have been for me. Love...Donna

Ernie,
I am sorry for your loss of your Dad. When I read in your Dad's obituary that you had also lost your Mom just a few months ago, it brought to mind losing both my folks just a few months apart 7 years ago. My Mom passed away in September, 2003, followed by my Dad in January, 2004. Those were difficult days and my heart goes out to you. My oldest brother also passed away just 6 months after my Dad had died, so we dealt with 3 deaths in our family in just 10 months. Tough, tough times. I still miss them a lot. Hope you can cope with these losses well. Time does help. Take care, Pat
