Mary Brey Obituary

BREY, MARY "MARGIE," 86, of South Louisville passed away Monday, December 31, 2007 at Meadowview Health & Rehabilitation. She was the former Margie Norris, a native of Nelson County, KY, and a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was a volunteer teacher assistant at St. Denis School and a regular bingo player at DeSales High School. She brought happiness and love to all those around her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aloysius Brey. She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Diane), Michael (Juanell) and Stephen Brey (Patricia); her daughters, Judy Anderson (Cliff) and Alice Borland; sisters, Nancy Hasch and Maggie Neville; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandsons. A Mass of celebration for Margie will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3509 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., from 2-8 p.m. Thursday. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Louisville.
