Dera Perrin MacDonald

Dera Perrin MacDonald lived in Groton for many years; 69 GROTON Dera Perrin MacDonald, 69, formerly of Groton, MA, passed away on April 20, surrounded by her children and extended family. Born in Danvers, MA, on Dec. 28, 1938, she was the daughter of the late George "Lefty" Perrin and Kathleen (Conway) Perrin. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, Kenneth R. MacDonald, Sr. The two were married in 1959, and moved to Groton from Lynn, MA in 1969. Dera was sought after by many hospitals as an expert medical billing specialist. Dera leaves two brothers, George Perrin of Shirley, MA, and John Perrin of Chelmsford, MA; a sister, Debbie Morrison of Bolinas, CA; three sons, Sean MacDonald of Inverness, FL., Scott MacDonald of Groton, MA., and Kenneth MacDonald, Jr. of Bowdoinham, Maine; two daughters, Kendra MacDonald of Seabrook, N.H. and Heather Lanphear of Woodbury, VT.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered as a caring and compassionate person by all who knew her. MacDONALD Dera Perrin. A private celebration for both Kenneth and Dera will be held at a later date.
