Claire Morgan Obituary

Claire Morgan lifelong resident of Lowell; 82 Lowell Claire (Bellerose) Morgan, age 82, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Lowell General Hospital following an brief illness. She was the wife of the late Ludger "Pete" Morgan who died in 1982. She was born in Lowell, July 10th, 1926, daughter of the late Alfred & Yvonne (Lorenger) Bellerose. Claire was a communicant of St. Rita's Parish in Lowell and was also very active in the community through various organizations. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an electronics assembler with RCA in Burlington for over 20 years and was also a stitcher with various mills in the Lowell area. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Steve Mithen of Hudson, NH; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Karen (Lamontagne) Morgan of Dracut; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Florence Paquin of Lowell, and Irene and Arthur Pratt of Acton, and of Lowell; six brothers and sisters-in-law, Louis and Rita Bellerose of Tyngsboro, Henry and Louise Bellerose of Lowell, George Bellerose of Lowell; Raymond and Barbara Bellerose of Dracut, Donald and Geraldine Bellerose of Dracut, and Gerald and Doris Bellerose of Lowell; a sister-in-law, Gabrielle Bellerose; three grandchildren, Corey and Casey Mithen and Matthew Verdon; also many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Robert Bellerose and Cecile Bowden. MORGAN Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, on Wednesday, July 30 from 4 to 8pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Rita Church, Lowell.
