Faith Neofotistos Obituary

Faith G. Neofotistos of Dracut; 66 Dracut Faith G. (Delazanos) Neofotistos, 66, of Dracut, died Saturday afternoon at Brigham and Woman's Hospital in Boston, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Pantellis "Paul" L. Neofotistos, a well-known local businessman, who died March 31, 2007. Together, they owned and operated numerous businesses, and were each other's best friend. Born in Lowell June 4, 1942, the daughter of the late George and the late Bessie (Helas) Delazanos, she attended Nashua Schools and was a graduate of Nashua High School. She then graduated from the Mansfield Hair Styling Academy in Nashua. She was a member of the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity and an active supporter of the Hellenic American School in Lowell for many years. Mrs. Neofotistos was an active businesswoman, but she enjoyed cooking and spending time, particularly shopping, with her daughters and also caring for her grandson. She is survived by three daughters Bette P. Neofotistos of Dracut, Anna P. Doney and her husband William of Lowell, and Andronike P. Neofotistos and her fiance Gary Richardson of Dracut; a grandson William George Doney of Lowell; two sisters Sophie Cakounes and her husband Peter of Dracut and Elaine Vrouhas and her husband Spiros of Chelmsford; an aunt Vassie Helas of Peabody; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Christopher and Aphrodite Neofotistos, Steve and Angela Neofotistos, Georgia Neofotistos all of Dracut. Helen Neofotistos of Tyngsboro, Charles Booras of Dracut and Dan Angelopoulos of Danvers; many nieces and nephews among them a special niece Anna S. Neofotistos of Dracut; and many grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins and friends. She was also the daughter-in-law of the late Louis and Anna (Kleros) Neofotistos and sister-in-law of the late George Neofotistos, Constantine Neofotistos, Peter Neofotistos, Dr. Anthony Neofotistos, Socrates Neofotistos, Nicholas Neofotistos, Mary Booras, Anastasia Neofotistos, and Andronike Angelopoulos. NEOFOTISTOS In keeping with her wishes, all Funeral services were private. Burial took place Today next to her husband in the Westlawn Cemetery. E-condolence at www.odonnellfuneralhome.com. My deepest sympathy to the Neofotistos Family and shocked to hear about Faith's passing but I do know she is happy again in Heaven with her husband Paul. I enjoyed working years ago for them both.
