CHELMSFORD Jessie (Griffiths) Jenne, 92, a
longtime resident of Chelmsford, and formerly of Berlin, NY, died on Monday, July 28, 2008.
She was the wife of the late C. Sherman Jenne.
She was born on February 18, 1916 in Leominster, a daughter of the late Percy E. and Jessie (Shaw) Griffiths.
Mrs. Jenne was a graduate of Berlin Central High School, Berlin, NY, and attended Syracuse University, College of Home Economics.
Prior to her retirement, she worked for the Chelmsford School System, as a secretary.
She was an active member of the Central Congregational Church, and a past president of the Kiselo Club at the church. She was also a member of the Chelmsford Senior Center, Chelmsford Historical Society, Chelmsford Land
Conservation Trust, Middlesex Women's Club, Senior Citizen Center Round Table Discussions Group,
Tuesday Group of Westland School, Tea Cups, Berlin New York Historical Society, and Camp Fire Girls
Alumni Association.
She is survived by her loving son, Sherman G. Jenne and his wife, Jeanette of Chelmsford; three
grandchildren, Sherman W. Jenne, Marjorie J. Franz, and Michael A. Jenne and his wife, Paula, six great-grandchildren, a sister, Ruth G. Bennett; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a
brother, Dr. Albert E. Griffiths.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday morning at 11 o'clock at the Central Congregational Church, Chelmsford.
