VIRGINIA L. DeCARTERET of Brentwood, NH, born in Nashua; 77 BRENTWOOD, NH Virginia L. DeCarteret, 77, of Brentwood, NH, died August 3, 2008 at Rockingham County Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. She was born in Nashua, NH, February 3, 1931 and was a daughter of Douglas and Lois (Bradley) Logan. She lived in Deerfield for several years and had been a resident of Rockingham Nursing Home the past several years. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard DeCarteret in 1987 and by a son, Richard A. DeCarteret who died last February. Family members include a son, Eric DeCarteret of Sanbornton, NH; three daughters, Pamela Honsa of Bellingham, MA, Susan Aubrey and Cindy Morrissette, both of Deerfield, NH; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Stuart of Warner, NH and Barbara Logan of Lowell, MA; two brothers, Ralph Logan of Lowell, MA and James Logan of Walpole, MA; several nieces and nephews. DeCARTERET Calling hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH. The funeral is Thursday at 11:30 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Tyngsboro Memorial Cemetery, Tyngsboro, MA at the convenience of the family.
