Gaby Thoelke Obituary

Gaby R. Thoelke of Billerica, was computer programmer; 67 BILLERICA Gaby R. Thoelke, age 67, wife of the late Henry C. Thoelke, died Thursday, at her home, after a short illness. She was born in St. Pacome, Canada, June 10, 1941, daughter of the late Albert and Alice (Roy) Royer, and lived in Belmont before moving to Billerica 42 years ago. Mrs. Thoelke was employed as a Computer Programmer for the Harte-Hanks Co. in Billerica for 20 years prior to her retirement. She was an avid skater. Mrs. Thoelke is survived by her 2 daughters, Suzanne Roop and her husband, Jeff of Westford and Marjorie Smith and her husband, Jeff of Raymond, NH; 3 brothers, Maurice, Jean and Jacques Royer, all of Canada; 2 sisters, Simone Schapker of CA, and Andree Diamont of Canada; 5 grandchildren, Delaney Roop, Andrew, Daniel, Nicholas and Benjamin Smith. THOELKE Of Billerica, August 7, Gaby R. (Royer) Thoelke, wife of the late Henry C. Thoelke. Funeral arrangements will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Arrangements under the care of the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, Billerica.

I am very saddened by the loss of your mother. Gaby was such a bright and cheerful person. She always had that deep dimpled smile for everyone. She was very special and a wonderful wife, mother, sister-in-law and friend. She will be greatly missed.
