William LePon Obituary

William A. LePon of Lowell, Boston Edison retiree, Army vet; 95 LOWELL William A. LePon, 95, a resident of the Highlands section of Lowell, but formerly of Dedham and North Falmouth, died Sunday morning at Saints Medical Center in Lowell. He was the husband of the late Anna B. (Kazansky) LePon who died November 10, 2005. Born in Boston, MA, January 3, 1913, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Anna (Lovich) LePon. Mr. LePon retired from Boston Edison as a Division Head and Director of Distribution after 37 years of service. In addition, he served as an Auxiliary Military Police Officer for the U.S. Army during World War II. Among his several interests, Mr. LePon enjoyed the game of golf and was the 1950 Club Champion at Ponkapong Golf Club. Mr. LePon is survived by a daughter, Anne M. McLaughlin of Methuen; three granddaughters, Jacqueline Harrington and her husband, Paul of Revere, Judith Bragdon and her husband, Edward of Celebration, FL, and Mary Keisling and her husband, Stephen of Nashua, NH; two grandsons, Kenneth McLaughlin and his wife, Christine of Methuen, and Kevin McLaughlin of Portsmouth, NH; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the O'DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday. His Funeral will take place from the Funeral Home Wednesday morning at 8:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at ST. MARGARET CHURCH at 9:30 A.M. Burial in Knollwood Cemetery, Canton.
