Edmond Jolin Obituary

Edmond J. Jolin, Jr. of Dracut; 81 Drcaut Edmond J. "Ed" Jolin, Jr., 81, a resident of Dracut, entered in eternal life on Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Annette (Carignan) Jolin with whom he shared over 50 years together. Ed was born on December 27, 1926 in Lowell, son of the late Mary (Pierce) and Edmond J. Jolin, Sr. He attended Lowell Public Schools and was proud to have served with the US Navy during World War II on the USS Ranger. He retired from Malden Mills in Lawrence after 35 years. He was an avid fan on the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox and also enjoyed building different types of battleship models. He was predeceased by his sisters, Lorraine Jolin and Catherine Sousa. Survivors include his five daughters, Donna Dube and her husband Donald "Sam", Carol Pepin and her husband Louis, Nancy Sherman and her husband Joe, Ella Marie "Tootsie" Johnson and her husband Elden, Sandra Lee Jolin; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, Samantha Sherman, Dawn Marie Ripley and her husband Michael, Christine LeBlanc and her husband Gerald, their children Caitlin and Jake, Tania Brule and her husband Leonard, their children Kaleigh and Jared, Scott Pepin and his wife Kelly, Joel Sherman and his friend Nicole, their children Bradley, Maggie Mae and Gabriel, Jody Marr and his friend Denise, their children Skyler, Bradon and Quinten, Jolien Carignan and her husband Ronnie, their children, Zachary, Timothy and Georgia, James Johnson, Bryan Johnson, his wife and their son James, Kristen Stump, Craig Johnson; 1 great-great grand child, Aiden LeBlanc; three great grandpuppies, Angel, Greta and Princess; a niece Jacqueline Calvino and her husband Anthony; four nephews, Alan, Keith, Kenneth and Jeffrey St. Amand; very good friends, Joyce Johnson, Dennis and Dorothy Lowe, and George and Pat Cunliff. JOLIN It being his request, there will be no visitation. Burial services will be held on Thursday August 14, 2008 at 1 PM in the Tyngsboro Memorial Cemetery, Fletcher Drive, Tyngsboro. Ed is at peace. He is now back with Annette, his love of 50 years. We will remember his knowledge of carpentry and instruction to George. The beautiful things he made for us. How he always danced with me trying to teach me to waltz. He was like a father to us. He will be missed. God Bless
