Donna was a very special woman. She had a huge heart and a warm personality. She shared her medical issues with us very matter-of-factly when she valiantly came to the gym to workout. I am shocked and saddened to hear that she lost her battle. Be at peace, Donna.

my thoughts and prayers are with you. on one of my recent visits to donna i told her she was always a good sister and a good friend. she was always kind and remembered everyone.i love her and will miss her always.
Al i know you were a good husband to donna. i saw all the love and caring that you showed her while she was so ill.it made me feel good.

To Nonna,
Who welcomed my daughter as if she were her own grandchild. It made me sad to think Shirin would not know the love of two grandmothers. You proved me wrong and were Shirin's Nonna from her first little cry to bringing her treats just for her. Thank you for the love and caring that you shared with our family.

Dear Aunt Donna,
You fought such a courageous battle. Despite all of the side effects you have endured over the years, you still were able to live a happy, full and enjoyable life. You were truly a beautiful person. I am going to miss our frequent lunch get-togethers, which until not so long ago, Aunt Pam was also a part of. I will think of you every time I make a knotted blanket that you showed me how to make a couple of years ago. We know what an obsession that turned out to be. I will miss you so very much. We all love you dearly. Both you and Pam will make beautiful angels.

We met when you were only 18 years old because we were fortunate to live next door in Woburn. You had your son Jackie about the same time as our son David, so we had a lot in common. Bev always joked with you that if I married you, I could have retired early because you were so thrifty compared to her. I always told you that you were responsible for me moving to Arizona because you always talked about Florida and the warm weather. It is so hard to believe you left us so early. I'll always remember your great sense of humor and your laughter. Your spirit will always be with us.

I feel blessed for our friendship of 38 years. All our shared memories; our long talks, laughs and stories, of which, you had the ability to make me feel a part of.
