Donna was a very special woman. She had a huge heart and a warm personality. She shared her medical issues with us very matter-of-factly when she valiantly came to the gym to workout. I am shocked and saddened to hear that she lost her battle. Be at peace, Donna.

To Nonna,
Who welcomed my daughter as if she were her own grandchild. It made me sad to think Shirin would not know the love of two grandmothers. You proved me wrong and were Shirin's Nonna from her first little cry to bringing her treats just for her. Thank you for the love and caring that you shared with our family.

Dear Donna
When I was just 17 you welcomed me into your family. It didn't matter that we were not family by blood but we were family by love. I learned so much from you about motherhood and the importance of family. I will keep you close to my heart always. Rest in peace.
All my love,
Roshni

Dear Aunt Donna,
You fought such a courageous battle. Despite all of the side effects you have endured over the years, you still were able to live a happy, full and enjoyable life. You were truly a beautiful person. I am going to miss our frequent lunch get-togethers, which until not so long ago, Aunt Pam was also a part of. I will think of you every time I make a knotted blanket that you showed me how to make a couple of years ago. We know what an obsession that turned out to be. I will miss you so very much. We all love you dearly. Both you and Pam will make beautiful angels.

Love, Michelle, Bill, Danielle, Derek, Sarah, Ashley, Stephanie and Cayden xoxo

God looked around His garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked upon the earth
And saw your tired face.

He put His arm around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering.
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your eyelids,
And whispered, "Peace be thine."

It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you Home.

Forever you will be missed!

Love, Kim, Craig, Danielle and Chase

Donna:
We met when you were only 18 years old because we were fortunate to live next door in Woburn. You had your son Jackie about the same time as our son David, so we had a lot in common. Bev always joked with you that if I married you, I could have retired early because you were so thrifty compared to her. I always told you that you were responsible for me moving to Arizona because you always talked about Florida and the warm weather. It is so hard to believe you left us so early. I'll always remember your great sense of humor and your laughter. Your spirit will always be with us.

"The better part of one's life consists of his friendships". (Abraham Lincoln)

For Donna, my dearest friend:

I feel blessed for our friendship of 38 years. All our shared memories; our long talks, laughs and stories, of which, you had the ability to make me feel a part of. Your friendship has been a gift to me and will continue to cherish. During our recent conversations on the phone, you expressed to me what a good friend I've been and I replied, "Never as good as you have been to me". Selfishly, I will miss you as many others will, but am grateful when no miracle on this earth was to be, that your heavenly journey home was of much love and peace; the best miracle we could ever pray for you.

All our love,

Marianne Stewart
