Hilda Taylor Obituary

Hilda F. Taylor formerly of Lowell and Chelmsford; 98 Billerica Mrs. Hilda F. (Wightman) Taylor a former resident of Lowell and New York, before moving to Chelmsford in 1953, died in Billerica, August 18th, 2008, aged 98 years. She was the wife of the late Wilfred Taylor. Born in Lowell on June 5th, 1910 she was the daughter of the late Myron and Sadie (Scagel) Wightman. Hilda received her education in the Lowell school system. After her marriage she moved to New York and worked for Elizabeth Arden. She then moved to Chelmsford and raised her family. Mrs. Taylor loved her family, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving her are her two loving daughters, Barbara M. Kelley and her husband Edward of Lowell, and Carolyn F. Winters and her husband James, of York, Maine and a stepson and his wife, R. Robert Taylor and Margo of Montview, CA; six grandchildren, Edward P. Kelley, Jr. of Tyngsboro, Laurie L Silk and her husband David of Lowell, Andrew R. Kelley and his wife Cindy of Winchester, Craig Winters and his wife Jennifer of Dothan, Alabama, and James S. Winters of York, Maine, and Jay Winters. Four great-grandchildren, Patrick Silk, Jack Silk, Meghan Silk and Rowan Winters. TAYLOR Died August 18th, 2008 in Billerica, Mrs. Hilda F. Taylor, of Lowell, aged 98 years. She was the wife of the late Wilfred Taylor. It being her wish there will be no calling hours. Friends who wish may make Memorial Contributions in her name to Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, Inc., 360 Merrimack St. #5, Lawrence, MA 01843. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
