Felicita Ramos

Felicita Ramos formerly of Lowell; 93 GULFPORT, FL Felicita Ramos, 93, died of natural causes in a hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, on August 4th. She was preceded by her 5 siblings and husband, Bienvenido Ramos. She leaves behind, her Daughter and Son-in-Law, Julia (Slates) and Henry Fuce of Gulfport, FL; and her Son and Daughter-in-Law, Ben and Dorothy Ramos of Dover, NH. Also, surviving Felicita are her 5 grandchildren, Jon Slates of Tyngsboro, MA; Stephanie Masterson of Hudson, NH; Scott Slates of Nashua, NH; Troy Taschereau of Edmonton, OK, and Bryce Ramos of Portsmouth, NH; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and 9 great-grandchildren. Felicita Ramos was born on March 20th, 1915. She was orphaned at a young age and learned early on to take care of herself and her loved ones. She met her husband of 46 years at the town plaza in her hometown and they were eventually married on August 29th, 1942. After living for 28 years in Lowell, MA and working at St. Joseph's Hospital, they enjoyed their retirement in Manati, Puerto Rico for 10 years before her husband passed away in 1988. Felicita remained in Manati for another 15 years before she moved to live with her Daughter, Julia, in Gulfport at the age of 90. She is much beloved and will be missed dearly. RAMOS Services will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Parish at 250 Tyngsboro Rd in Dracut, MA on Saturday, August 23rd, 2008 at 9:00 a.m.
