Beatriz Miranda of Chelmsford; 91 CHELMSFORD Beatriz (Serrano) Miranda, of Chelmsford, and formerly of East Boston and Colombia, died on Friday, August 22, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late Jorge E. Miranda. She was born on November 24, 1916 in Bucaramanga, Colombia, a daughter of the late Deogracias and Ester (Roman) Serrano. Mrs. Miranda was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Chelmsford. She is survived by four loving children, Patty Irving and her husband, Bruce of N. Chelmsford, Beatriz DesLoges and her husband, John of Chelmsford, Jorge Miranda and his wife, Consuelo of Tampa, FL, and Francisco Miranda of Walpole. She was the beloved grandmother of 14. She is also survived by a sister, Marina Higuera of Colombia. She was the mother of the late Fernando Miranda. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday morning from 9 to 10:30 am at BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 o'clock at St. Mary's Church, Chelmsford.
