Mary J. Tebich

Mary J. Tebich of Lowell, active at Holy Trinity Church; 87 LOWELL Mary J. (Scarks) Tebich, 87, a longtime resident of Lowell, died Friday August 29th, at D'Youville Senior Care in Lowell. She was the wife of the late Stephen J. Tebich who died in 1989. She was born in Lowell, on November 14, 1920, and she was the daughter of the late Karol and Annie (Sukoczna) (Cheponis) Szarkow. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Tebich was employed as a presser at Pleasant Dress Company. She was a communicant of the Holy Trinity Polish Church in Lowell and she was a member and former president of the Holy Trinity Senior Citizens, and was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and John Bonczar of Dracut; seven grandchildren, Kevin Cote of Wilmington, Jennifer Cote Champoux of Nashua, NH, Brian Cote of Derry, NH, Laurie Kunitake of Candia, NH, Shelley Cote of Hudson, NH, Timothy Bonczar of Lowell, and George Cote of Lowell; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Phyllis L. Cote, the sister of the late Karol Scarks, and the stepsister of the late Michael Cheponis, Joseph Cheponis, and John Cheponis. TEBICH Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Wednesday from 8:30 until 9:30 A.M., followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 A.M. at Holy Trinity Polish Church in Lowell.
