David Brickey Obituary

David Brickey lifelong resident of Nashua, NH; 47 Nashua, NH David Brickey, 47, of Nashua, NH passed away peacefully after fighting a long and courageous battle with leukemia on Friday, October 3, 2008 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He was surrounded by his family at the time of his death. David was born on March 27, 1961; son of the late Harold F. and Florence (Shea) Brickey. David was a lifelong resident of Nashua. He met his wife Lori in Nashua and there they began their life as husband and wife. Together they brought two beautiful children into the world, a son Derek and daughter Kayla. David and Lori celebrated 20 wonderful years of marriage together on September 10, 2008. His loves were bass fishing, camping and most important to him was spending time with his family. David was employed at Cedar Point Communications in Derry, NH as a computer engineer. Members of his family include his wife Lori Brickey and children Derek and Kayla Brickey all of Nashua, NH, two aunts, Norma Robitaille, and Evelyn Vermette both of Nashua, an uncle, Richard and his wife Shirley Brickey also of Nashua, a sister in-law, Linda Hakesley and her husband Joel of Haverhill, a brother in-law Edward Mulvey and his wife Cheryl of Boxford, MA, three nieces, one nephew and many cousins. BRICKEY Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 from 4pm to 8pm at the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St, Nashua, NH 03060. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring Street, Nashua, NH 03060. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 9 Erie Drive, Suite 101, Natick, MA 01760.
