Dear Laura,
You and Lia were the first people Becca and I met up on 6 North. We soon discovered our similarities: Becca and Lia shared the same birthday and you lived in Tewksbury, the town I grew up in. I was in awe at the way Lia carried herself; she was one tough cookie! She was so matter of fact about getting done what needed to get done. Her courage far surpassed that of any adult I knew, never mind a 7 year old! She has always been in my heart and prayers; it was only today that I found the obituary. I can't express how deeply I feel for your loss. Surely Lia is in Heaven where a thousand years is like a day, so for her you will reunite with her in the twinkling of an eye. If every tear will be wiped from our eyes, then surely we will all be there together. For us it seems like an unbelievably long wait, but be assured, for Lia it will be like no time at all. Well, please feel free to contact me any time [email protected]. Cell # 978-290-0256

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, ""I welcome you.""
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......""My day was not in vain.""
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dear Rick, Laura & Rico ~ Lia (as well as yourselves) will always be an inspiration because of the incredibly rough road Lia (and again, you) traveled throughout her young life, and her unparalled fighting spirit. Now apparently she has other work to do and there surely is no brighter light in heaven. But remember that a spirit like Lia's will always be with you and you will always feel her. As we've said many times before, your faith and strength as a family is truly amazing. Hold on to that as much as you can. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, as always. Much love, Ricky & Sharon

I am a grandmother of ten, formally of Medford, born and raised there and brought up my own children there as well. When I read of beautiful little Lia's passing and saw her incredably angellic face my heart wrenched and I was moved to tears. No parents should have to go through such a tremendous loss and my sincere thoughts, prayers and sympathy go out to this family. Lia will certainly be looking down on you and I pray you will take solace that she is finally free of pain and suffering. God bless you all and may God heal your broken hearts.

To the DiFronzo Family,
We did not know Lia personally, but we have a child who attends the Trahan and were made aware of Lia and her battle last year during the fundraiser for Lia and Children's Hospital, ultimately leading to Mr. Paul's shaving his head at the end of the school year. I can't even begin to imagine the heartache you are feeling right now, but as I told my child last evening, he along with his schoolmates now have a very special angel watching over all of them at the Trahan, as you all now have a beautiful angel in heaven watching over you and your family. May you find peace and comfort in this time of such sorrow. You are all in our prayers.

DiFronzo Family:
May your beautiful angel Lia continue to watch over you.
Your time on earth seemed all too brief
because I wanted you in my life forever.
And although I really miss you,
in my heart I know that you are at peace.
Still, countless times throughout the day
I find myself remembering you.
Although I cannot see or hear you,
I know that you are with me.
I'll feel you in the warmth of the summer sun.
I'll see you in the brilliance of autumn leaves.
You'll be beside me in the peacefulness of a gentle snowfall
and rejoice with me at the emergence
of the first flowers of spring.
I'm thankful for the times we shared
and the priceless memories too;
for those memories are a comfort now when I lovingly -
Remember You
