Helen Beatrice MacFadyen

Helen Beatrice MacFadyen of Conway, NH, formerly of Dracut; 89 Conway, NH Helen Beatrice (Fyfe) MacFadyen, 89, formerly of Apple Tree Village, Conway, NH died October 3, 2008 at Memorial Hospital in North Conway. Born June 5, 1919 in Merrimac, MA daughter of the late Robert and Beatrice (Robinson) Fyfe she had lived in Dracut, for many years prior to moving to Conway 25 years ago. Mrs. MacFadyen worked as a librarian for Itek Corp. in Lexington, MA and Digital Equipment in Maynard, MA. In North Conway she worked with her daughter at the Toy Chest for 20 years. Mrs. MacFadyen was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital, a member of the Conway Woman's Club and enjoyed working in her gardens. She is survived by two sons Donald MacFadyen of Salem, MA, Duncan MacFadyen of Bartlett, NH, a daughter Jean Simmons of Glen, NH, two grandchildren Laurie Burgoyne of Billerica, Ross MacFadyen of Bartlett, NH and three great-grandchildren. MACFAYDEN A graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gibson Senior Center in North Conway. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Home and Cremation Service Rt. 16, West Ossipee, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
