Loretta Quigley Obituary

Loretta E. Quigley Centralville resident, St. Michael member; 91 LOWELL Loretta E. (Toy) Quigley, Widow of John E. Quigley, Sr., a resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, died Saturday, October 11, 2008, at a local nursing home. She was 91. Born in Lowell on June 30, 1917, she was a daughter of the late George and Rose (Armitage) Toy. Prior to her retirement, Loretta was a bridal consultant for the former A.G. Pollard's in Lowell. Following retirement, she worked at several bridal boutiques in the Lowell area. She was a communicant of St. Michael Church, and was a member of the St. Dominic's Club there. Survivors include two sons, Philip A. Quigley of Hudson, NH, John E. Quigley, Jr. of Lowell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ann Marie and Charles W. Braley of Lowell, Lorretta E. and Warren J. Kerrigan, Jr., of Shirley; three daughters-in-law, Nancy Quigley of TX, Sharon Quigley of Lowell, Faith Quigley of Hudson, NH; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Raymond J. Quigley, and sister of the late George Toy and Mary Williams. QUIGLEY Loretta E. (Toy). Relatives and friends may call at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, from 8:30 until 9:30 A.M. on Wednesday. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 A.M. in St. Michael Church.
