Dorothy Zelonis Obituary

Dorothy G. Zelonis of Dracut; 59 Dracut Dorothy G. (Tessier) Zelonis, 59, a resident of Dracut, and former Lowell resident, died Sunday October 12th, at her home. She was the beloved wife of James S. Zelonis, to whom she was married for 30 years. She was born in Lowell on November 24, 1948, and was the daughter of the late Armand and Lillian (Mireault) Tessier. She received her education in Lowell schools and she was a graduate of Lowell High School. Dorothy spent her life tending to the needs of her home and family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Kelly Zelonis, and Kerry Zelonis, both of Lowell, and Krissy Zelonis of Dracut; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Rita Tessier of Nashua, NH; a sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Richard Daigle of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Terry Holmsted. ZELONIS Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Thursday from 5 until 8 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9 AM at Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish at Ste. Therese Church in Dracut. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the VNA Care Hospice, 5 Federal St., Danvers, MA 01923. For online condolences and directions visit dracutfuneralhome.com.
