To the Bauer Family,
I am one of Linda's college friends who lives in Mass. We just learned that Barbara passed away, and we are so very sorry for all of you. We'll certainly think of you this Friday, the 24th. Can't imagine that both she and Dick Coletti, who should have been celebrating birthdays, are gone. May God bless her and take care of you all.

My Grammy has been such an inspiration to me and I hope to one day grow up to be just like her. She will be loved and missed by me so much there aren't enough words in the English language to explain!!!
RIP GRAMMY.
Not a day will pass that I won't think of you<3

Barbara was my dear friend from New London High School and dating time with David--wonderful memories. Although I haven't seen her for too many years, she always kept me up to date on her life and her family. Sorrow overwhelms me. My love to the family. I am grateful for the blessing of having been her friend.

Mr. Bauer and family,
I met Barbara at SJH and immediately respected her for her dedication to her profession and her excellent supervisory skills. She was very supportive of her nurses! I will keep you all in my prayers. Barbara was such a beautiful person and I shall remember her fondly.

David, Kathy, Marybeth, Sheila & Nancy,
I know I will not be able to tell you all how sorry I am for you & your loss when I see you (way too emotional), so I thought I'd make an entry you could read.
My childhood memories would not be complete without you all in them. We spent so much time together & had so much fun! Your Mom was a wonderful woman, always so cheerful & loving.
She was a wonderful friend to my Mom & she will be sorely missed.
Please know that our thoughts & prayers are with you all to help you get through.
Much love,
Pam Claus Moricle

This news saddened me. My aunt Barbara was a compassionate hearty vibrant soul. I am confident she is in heaven rejoicing with my Grandmother Ruth.
To all my cousins and my Uncle David, my prayers and deepest sympathies are with you. I love you all.
I remember looking out into my church in Newport long ago and being stunned to see Kathy and Barbara present. So much has changed since then - but my memory of that loving support will never be forgotten. God bless you all deeply.

I didn't know Barbara personally although I feel as if I did through the words of her loving daughter Sheila. She spoke so highly of her. She was the matriarch of the family, the backbone so to speak. A very close-knit family. My heart aches for them. She will be sadly missed. My thoughts are with all of you.
