Mary Frances Linnartz

Mary Frances Linnartz of Lowell; 98 Lowell Mrs. Mary Frances (Downs) Linnartz a resident of D'Youville Senior Care in Lowell, died Monday, October 27, 2008 at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell. Born in Westport, CT on July 30, 1910, the daughter of the late John and Delia (Kenny) Downs. She was a graduate of Staples High School with the class of 1928. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of N. Chelmsford, as well as being a member of the Assumption Parish in Westport, CT. Mary worked as a secretary for Dr. William Leggett, DVM, until her retirement in 1974. She is survived by two sons and their spouses, Ernest and Jeanne Renzulli of Hampstead, NC, Joseph and Marianna Renzulli of Chelmsford; six grandchildren, Jay Renzulli of CA, Beth Renzulli of NH, Mary Claire and her husband, Hank Prochazka of TN, David and his wife, Susan Renzulli of NC, Melinda and her husband, Scott Harris of Chelmsford, Steven and his wife, Amy Renzulli of NC; two step-children, Jim Linnartz and Joyce Linnartz both of FL, as well as several close family friends. LINNARTZ Mary F. (Downs) Linnartz of Chelmsford, died October 27, 2008. No Visiting hours. Funeral Mass Thursday at 9am at St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford. Graveside committal prayers will be at 2pm in Assumption Cemetery, Westford, CT. Memorials may be made in Mary's name to the D'Youville Senior Care Center, 781 Varnum Ave. Lowell, MA 01854.
