Kenneth Foster Obituary

Kenneth A. Foster of Lowell; 78 Lowell Kenneth A. Foster, age 78, a Lowell resident, died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the Willow Manor in Lowell following an extended illness. Born in Woburn, Ma on March 18, 1930 he was a son of the late Edward and Myrtle (Buckley) Foster. He was a graduate of Burlington High School Class of 1948. Kenneth had been employed as a Bartender at the VFW Post 8819 in Billerica. He had also worked at Cappy's Copper Kettle in Lowell, and several other establishments. In his early years, he had been employed by the Town of Billerica. He enjoyed sports and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include two daughters, Maureen Camacho of Pelham, NH, Jeannette M. Silva of Lowell; his extended family, Darrel Foster and Family, John Foster and family and Varian and Vanetta Ricard, all of Lowell; three sisters, Priscilla Hyland of N. Carver, Ma, Eleanor Abisi of Dracut and Linda Stayman of Las Vegas; three brothers, Roger Foster and his wife Virginia of Westford, Walter Foster and his wife Anke of Munich, Germany, and Wayne Foster of Nashua, NH; three grandchildren, James Camacho and his wife Kim, Christopher Silva and his wife Varina and Taylor Rourke; three great-grandchildren, Jimmy Camacho, Tyler Camacho and Matthias Silva; also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends at Kappy's Copper Kettle. He was also the husband of the late Evelyn F. (Schwartz) Foster and brother of the late Stanley Foster. FOSTER Kenneth A. Foster, age 78, of Lowell, died October 25, 2008. Family and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Visitation on Thursday, October 30, 2008 from 11am-1pm at the ARCHAMBAULT FUNERAL HOME, 309-311 Pawtucket St., Lowell to be followed by his Committal Services at 1:30pm at Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. Funeral Director: Victor J. Archambault II (978-459-9315).
