Janet Riordan Obituary

Janet E. Riordan active at St. Theresa's, Raytheon retiree; 72 BILLERICA Janet E. (Young) Riordan, age 72, wife of the late Brian J. Riordan, died unexpectedly Monday, at her home. She was born in Boston, December 7, 1935, daughter of the late Peter and Catherine (Burke) Young and lived in Brighton prior to moving to Billerica in 1963. Mrs. Riordan was an Executive Secretary at Raytheon in Lexington; in retirement she was active at St. Theresa Church in Billerica as well as the Billerica Senior Center. She is survived by two sons, Mark Riordan of VA, and Andrew Riordan of Billerica; four daughters, Susan Shikoluk of CT, Ellen Cain of FL, Amy Dilger of WA, and Joanne Marciano of Andover; one brother, Peter Young of Beverly; two sisters, Joan Mercier of Norwood, and Ann Mandile of SC; and 10 grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Paul Riordan. RIORDAN Of Billerica, formerly of Brighton, unexpectedly Oct. 27, Janet E. (Young) Riordan, wife of the late Brian J. Riordan. Funeral Saturday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd. Billerica at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours Friday from 4 7 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. Funeral Directors W.J. and Dean M. Laurendeau.
