Joseph Burrows Obituary

Joseph A. Burrows of Lowell, enjoyed gardening Lowell Mr. Joseph A. Burrows of Lowell, died Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Saint Medical Center in Lowell, MA after a brief illness. He was married to Mrs. H. Ruth (McGowan) Burrows with whom he has been married to for over 60 years. Joseph was born in Dracut, on August 11, 1919, the son of the late Albert and Frances (Allison) Burrows. He was a graduate of Dracut High School. He served with the U.S. Army Air Corp. during WWII. Joseph retired from the Lowell Public Schools. He was a communicant of St. Margaret Church of Lowell, MA. Joseph enjoyed gardening and spending time with his two grandchildren. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by a son, Brian and his wife Bonnie Burrows and two grandchildren Kimberly and Christopher Burrows all of Lowell. BURROWS Mr. Joseph A. Burrows of Lowell, died November 2, 2008. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 to 7 pm. Funeral Thursday at 8:30 am from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 Middlesex St. Chelmsford, with a funeral Mass at 9:30 at St. Margaret Church in Lowell. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
