Mildred Hayes Obituary

Mildred Hayes longtime resident of Lowell; 67 Lowell Mrs. Mildred (Brown) (Lach) Hayes, a long time resident of Lowell, formerly of Rockymount, North Carolina Born in Rockymount, NC on October 8, 1941 the daughter of the late Charles and Mary F. (Harris) Brown she received her education in the Rockymount School System, moving to Lowell in 1968. Mildred loved her family, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed spending time at the beach. Mildred was a homemaker all her life and was a member of the East End Club in Lowell. She is survived by two daughters, Tina Bryant and her husband Michael Nys, and Jody Surkis and her husband Raymond all of Lowell. Four sons, Charles Bryant of Lowell, Howard Swenson and his wife Christine of Loudon, NH Edward Lach and his companion Christine Sawyer of Lowell, and Toby Lach and his wife Kelly also of Lowell. Eighteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Margaret Johnson of North Carolina, and Caroline Brown of Minnesota, a brother Daniel Brown also of North Carolina.; and several nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the mother of the late, Donald Bryant, and sister of the late Ruthie Brown. HAYES Died in Lowell, Sunday, November 2, 2008, Mrs. Mildred (Brown) (Lach) Hayes, a resident of Lowell, aged 67 years. Friends will be received at the MORSE-BAYLISS FUNERAL HOME, 122 Princeton Blvd. at Chester and Harvard Sts., TODAY, from 5-7 pm. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Thursday, at 12:00 pm.
