John Schiavone Obituary

John Schiavone lifelong resident of Billerica; 54 Billerica John "Johnny" Schiavone died, following a courageous battle with cancer, Monday, November 24, 2008 at his home in Billerica with his devoted brother, Stephen, at his side. He was born in Medford, June 8, 1954, the son of Theresa Tigges of Burlington and the late Stephen J. Schiavone. Johnny, a lifelong resident of Billerica, was a welder by trade. He was cared for by his brother and best friend, Stephen Schiavone, of Billerica, right to the very end. Besides his brother and mother, he is survived by his stepbrothers, Kenneth Tigges and his wife, Michelle, of Burlington and James Tigges and his wife, Simone, of Burlington and his nieces and nephews. SCHIAVONE of Billerica, November 24, 2008, John "Johnny" Schiavone, age 54. Died at his home in Billerica with his devoted brother at his side. A private funeral service will be held on Friday, November 28, in the Burns Funeral Home, Billerica. Memorial contributions may be made in Johnny's name to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Interment, Fox Hill Cemetery. www.burnsfuneralhomes.com

Hey Steve, so sorry to hear about John. Whenever I think back to growing up on Mystic Ave. I always think of You and John and grin. Fun times. In my head I guess you two will always be teenagers. Too bad we had to grow up. Take care Steve.
