Mary Tanguay Obituary

Mary Ann Tanguay avid Red Sox and Patriots fan; 72 Dracut Mary Ann (Cyr) Tanguay, a Dracut resident, and the beloved companion of 35 years of Jay Daley of Dracut who survives her, died Monday December 1, 2008 at the Saints Medical Center following a brief illness. She was 72. She was born in Bangor, Maine the daughter of the late Louis and Margaret (Wallace) Cyr. Mary Ann was a bartender in the Lowell area for more than 30 years. She had worked at various establishments, including Donohue's, the Hideaway, and Hynes' Tavern. Mary Ann was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Surviving her besides her companion are five daughters and sons in law, Karen and Lance Linke of Hudson, NH, Susan and William Scoville of Salem, NH, Bobbi-Jean Smith and her companion Daniel Burke of Lowell, Tammi and Thomas Foley of Hudson, NH, Kathy and Clint LaBonte of Epsom, NH; a stepdaughter Laura Daley of Dunstable; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. TANGUAY Mary Ann. Relatives and friends will be received at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth St, for Memorial Visitation on Thursday from 4 until 7pm. Funeral Services will be Private. Donations in her memory may be made to the Massachusetts Audubon Society, Development Office, 208 South Great Rd, Lincoln, MA 01773.
