Rosella Spence Obituary

Rosella E. Spence lived in Burlington for many years; 76 BURLINGTON Rosella E. (Wooldridge) Spence, age 76, beloved wife of the late William G. Spence, died Friday, at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. She was born in Everett, July 11, 1932, daughter of the late Thomas and Mabel (Farnell) Wooldridge, and had lived in Burlington for many years before living in Melrose. Mrs. Spence is survived by her loving children, Charles of Lowell, Stephanie Surette of FL, Mark of Billerica, Kevin of Raymond, NH, William of Georgetown and their spouses; her brothers, Almon and Chesley Wooldridge of ME; her sisters, Alice Bowman of Rockland, Shirley Durgan of Stoneham, and Roberta Bayer of E. Hampton. Also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Spence was the sister of the late Pearl Petrino, Gladys Rae, and Karen Neal. SPENCE Of Burlington, Dec. 5, Rosella E. (Wooldridge) Spence, wife of the late William G. Spence. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rosella's name to the Tuell Nursing Home, 92 Franklin St., Melrose, MA 02176. Burial in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington. Funeral Directors W.J. and Dean M. Laurendeau.
