Kathleen O'Flahaven Obituary

Kathleen E. O'Flahaven formerly of Nashua, grew up in Westford; 61 WEST PALM BEACH, FL Kathleen E. (Costello) O'Flahaven, 61, of West Palm Beach, FL, a former longtime resident of Nashua, NH, died Saturday, October 13, 2007, at the Hospice of Palm Beach County, in West Palm Beach. She was the wife of William M. O'Flahaven. Mrs. O'Flahaven was born in Townsend, MA, June 20, 1946, a daughter of the late Thomas and Ellen (Spofford) Costello. She grew up in the Forge Village section of Westford, and was a graduate of Westford Academy. She later moved to Nashua, NH where she resided many years before moving to Florida two years ago. She was employed as a quality control inspector at the Interlan and Micom Companies in Boxboro before her retirement 15 years ago. As part of her job, she traveled to China extensively. Mrs. O'Flahaven was an avid gardener, enjoyed crafts and playing bingo. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sheila D. and Kevin D. Marques of Nashua, NH; a brother and his wife, Douglas and Janet Deware of West Palm Beach, FL; two sisters and their husbands, Carol and William Derosier, Maryann and Ted Haberlien, all of Fitchburg, MA; five sisters-in-law, Christine Geise of Concord, NC, Eileen O'Flahaven and Maura O'Flahaven, both of Lowell, MA, Sheila Foulds of North Andover, MA, Dorothy Horne of Las Vegas, NV. She also leaves two grandchildren, Eric A. Marques and Christopher W. Marques, both of Nashua, NH. She was predeceased by a brother and his wife, William and Irene Deware of Atlanta, GA. O'FLAHAVEN Kathleen E. (Costello), 61, Oct. 13. A funeral service will be held at the T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 250 Main St. (Rte 119), Townsend Center at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2007. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Townsend. Calling hours will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
