John Lane Obituary

John L. Lane of Nashua, NH, Vietnam War veteran; 60 NASHUA, NH John L. Lane, age 60, a resident of Nashua, NH, died Thursday morning, after a long illness, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Coleen B. (Hepa) Lane. Born in Union City, PA, he was a son of the late William and Gertie (Smith) Lane. He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Lane was involved with many veteran organizations, and was a longtime member of the Lowell First Church of the Nazarene. Surviving him besides his wife are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeffrey K. Lane and his wife, Kelley of Somerville, MA, and Patrick A. Lane of Nashua, NH; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Amy West and her husband, Daniel of Nashville, NC, and Karyn L. Bowes and her husband, Robert of Nashua, NH; eight grandchildren, Arjealy Wisseh, KelseyJo West, Laurin Mohn, Trey West, Dominic Sampson, Johnathon Mohn, Emilee Mohn and Jadelyn Sampson; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Jan Lane of Michigan; two sisters, Genevieve Bowers and Alice Degrandchamp and her longtime companion, Grady Sexton, all of Michigan; as well as several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to celebrate John's life on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock in the Lowell First Church of the Nazarene, 1195 Varnum Avenue, Lowell.
