Beverly P. Sohn

Beverly P. Sohn Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother; 73 TEWKSBURY Beverly Louise (Pease) Sohn, age 73, a resident of Tewksbury for 43 years, died Monday, November 19, 2007, at her home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Werner Sohn, to whom she was married for 55 years. Born in Springfield on February 16, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Daniel H. and Mildred L. (Young) Pease. Mrs. Sohn was raised in Springfield, and attended Springfield schools. She resided in Springfield, MA, Bellville, IL, Syracuse, NY, and East Hartford, CT, until moving to Tewksbury in 1964. Mrs. Sohn was a member of the Fifth Street Baptist Church of Lowell. Following her marriage, she dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family. In later years, she taught hobby ceramics at her studio in Tewksbury and also taught seminars at ceramic convention centers until 1997. In recent years, she and her husband worked together at the Dunkin Donuts on Andover Street in North Tewksbury. According to her family, she also enjoyed quilting, genealogy, and sewing. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Deborah L. Berdos and her husband, Thomas of Chatham, NJ, Rebecca A. Filadoro and her husband, James of Hudson, NH, and Martha L. Blaisdell and her husband, Wayne of Salem, NH; 11 grandchildren, Christopher R. and Christina L. Berdos , Crystal L., Candice M., Nicole A., Michelle P., and James H. Filadoro, III, Brittany G. Mabe and her husband, Logan, Julianna J., Jocelyn F., and Laurel H. Blaisdell; one great-granddaughter, McKayla A. Keraghan; and two brothers, Daniel H. Pease, Jr. of Plainville, CT, and George Y. Pease and his wife, Carol of Ostrander, Ohio. SOHN Beverly (Pease). Calling hours Sunday, from 1-4 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, immediately followed by her funeral service to be held at the funeral home. Interment Monday, 12 Noon, at Oak Grove Cemetery, Springfield.
