Dearest Telford,TIII,Travis,Karen & children,
We were saddened to hear of Pam's passing. We have so many great memories of the good old days on "Snow Pond". Pam was a gracious hostess to all who entered your home. We always felt welcomed! She will be greatly missed by all of us. We were blessed to know her and to call her "our friend".

I have such fond memories, throughout my childhood, of spending time with your family. I have one memory in particular of Pam that always makes me laugh and smile. When I was 6 or 7, I stayed over at your house in Greenville by myself, without my brothers. Pam asked me what I'd like to eat for dinner and I apparently said, "Lobster!". She got quite a kick out of my response. And in the morning, before school, I recall she was struggling to style my hair, as she obviously wasn't used to making pigtails! But my stay was fun and Pam took such great care of me and made me feel very welcome in your home.
I will certainly miss her happy and funny personality. I always looked forward to our families getting together, and never minded just playing with "the boys". And seeing Pam give it right back to my Dad in a most hilarious way and hearing her call him, "Hermie," will always be something I remember about her.
So, please accept my sincerest thoughts of sympathy on behalf of me and my family, and know that we will never forget what kindness she shared with us all.

Telford,
When I think of Pam I'll always remember our ladies luncheon at DKBs last summer. Pam sat at the end of the table with a smile on her face, a twinkle in her eye and Gizmo at her feet. We'll all miss her.

"It is a mystery, this matter of life and death...that the same person who brought us a thousand joys, can one day leave us shedding a thousand tears..so suddenly, sometimes that we grope blindly for words left unspoken, and for the hug we needed to give, to say good-bye. And we wonder how this thread that holds us all to life can be so thin and fragile...until one day, we find the courage to accept that the living aren't meant to understand death...only to celebrate life, and to remember that...the only real death is....forgetting".
Pam was family and friend, and we loved her dearly. I am so grateful that I spoke with her the night before her surgery to tell her I loved her.

I hope that you all look at this not as a sad moment but as a celebration of Pam's life. You have not lost anything, you have gained all the moments you had with her for all the time you had her. Celebrate and smile at the thought of her, dance and sing because she would love to watch you doing so. My best wishes and lots of smiles and love.

go away--
They walk beside us
everyday--
A beautiful life
came to an end--
She died as she lived
everyone's friend.
She never failed to do

Her heart was true and

I want to offer my condolences for the lost you have suffered. I do not know the words to say other than remember the good times and it will get better in time, this I know because of just recently loosing my younger brother.
I knew Pam in high school, even though I graduated in 1960, she was a friend. She and I would ride around town just enjoying each others company.
I have thought of Pam many times through the years and have often wondered what had happened to her.
The last time that I saw her was when I was home from college, I went into a store in the junction and she came out around the corner and gave me a great big hug.
Once again just remember those good times.
