I wish to express my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Virginia Marie Paul Crockett. I never met Virginia; but, as a co-worker of her daughter Carolyn, I have a sense of her from the familiar stories of a large, Irish Catholic, working-class family that somehow made its way in this world. I was also raised in a family of 8 kids and I know how fortunate I am to have received the love and support of parents and an extended family. We certainly were blessed to have had opportunities that our parents could only dream of. I sense that Carolyn and her family share the same sentiments about Virginia. Please accept my deep sympathies at her passing; and, as you celebrate her life, please recall the Irish blessing ...
