Stanley Baker Jr. AUBURN -- Stanley Baker Jr., of Auburn, was promoted to glory on March 4, 2009, after a brief illness. He was born Nov. 13, 1932, the son of Stanley Baker Sr. and Margaret (Senette) Baker of South Portland. He graduated from South Portland High School in 1952.He was married to Antoinette Chapman from 1957 to 1965. He is survived by his two children, a daughter Laurel Reed of Dresden, a son David Baker of Panama City, Fla.; as well as a brother, Philip Baker of Gorham; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was loved by all. Services for Stan will be held at the Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Rd., South Portland. Visiting hours will be 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, and his funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 9, at the funeral home. Interment will be at a later date.
