Charlie,
Please except my deepest sympathy for the loss of your dad. I remember when he used to come into the middle school to help us teach our weather units in science. He was a lot better at it then we were!! Joan and I are in Flordia and will be unable to attend the funeral. My best to you, Whitey and your families.

The Miller family were great friends of my dad and I. Charlie Miller used to get his haircuts at my dads barbershop in the Village, may I please extend my deepest sympathies to his entire family, and to his sister Marjorie. He will be missed. Again, my deepest sympathies to you all.

I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Jim's death. He was a wonderful man and so proud of his family. I will miss him.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I wish I could be in Maine to see you all and to formally say goodbye to him. I will be thinking of you all on Monday and Tuesday.
