Beverly M. Clark

Beverly M. Clark, 70 SCARBOROUGH -- Beverly M. Clark, 70, of Scarborough died on March 8, 2009, at The Gosnell Memorial House with her family at her side. Beverly was born in Orono, the daughter of Robert and Irene King. She was a graduate of South Portland High School Class of 1957 and received an associate degree from Grays Business College. Beverly worked for the Town of Scarborough in the department of finance for many years. Beverly will be remembered by her family and friends as a fun loving person who enjoyed writing humorous stories and silly poems for various occasions. Her favorite pastimes include working intricate puzzles, listening to the local scanner, and spending time with her family and close friends Bob and Betty Rounds. She is predeceased by her brother, Edward King in 1966. She is survived by her children, Stephen M. Quirk and wife Jane of Scarborough, Jeff Quirk and wife Beth of Scarborough; five grandchildren, Erin, Mary Catherine, Meghan, Jason and Eric all of Scarborough; along with many loving friends especially Betty and Bob Rounds of Scarborough. Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 Saturday, March 14, 2009, at the new Hobbs Funeral Home in Scarborough, 671 U.S. Route ONE, (207) 883-5599.
