Stacy, I am so deeply saddened. I can't imagine life without you. My life was greatly enhanced just by having you in it. For that, I am blessed. Angels must have had bigger plans for you. God knows you earned your wings years ago. You are and have always been angelic. To the family. You had the most amazing person in your life. Bless you all.
Miss you Stacy. Always. Love.

To Stacey's family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have known Stacey since I was about ten years old and she worked at Dicksons store in old orchard beach many years ago. She use to let me hang out there and let me bag groceries,I always looked up to her, she was so beautiful and so kind, she set an example of how I wanted to be when I grew up. I was so sad to hear of her passing. She will always be the beautiful woman I remember.

I am Stacey's oldest sister. Thank you all for all your remembrances. It is so important for us to remember how she lived -- not how she died. She was kind and gentle but was also feisty. Smart and goofy. Elegant and down to earth. Nearly perfect, as near as I can tell. Please keep the remembrances coming. They are very comforting.

I met Stacey over 20 years ago, when she lived in Buxton. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of her is her laugh, her smile, her sense of humor. She was a blessing to so many, and will be missed so much.
To the family, may God comfort you and hold you close in His arms. Stacey is in heaven now, and though we miss her here, we will see her again.

To Stacey's family and friends,

I worked with Stacey, and in the short time that I knew here (just over a year), I have to say that she made a tremendous, positive impact on me and on those around her. You couldn't find a person who didn't like and care for Stacey. She was an amazing person.

I found this quote that reminded me of Stacey- it sounds like something she might even say:

"I have only slipped away into the next room, I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are. Call me by my old familiar name. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Play, smile, think of me. All is well."

Stacey- I miss you.

Although Stacey and I have not been in touch over the last few years, I thought about her often. I have so many fond memories of the years we were close. We used to ride my 2 Morgans in the woods of Scarborough and Old Orchard. She adopted one of my cats when I moved to Ca., and kept him into old age, and she also adopted one of my rescue collies, Inky. She was so committed to the things that she loved. I know the emptiness that everyone is feeling now. But, knowing Stacey, she will find a way to influence all of us from her very special place in Heaven.

Amy purchased the cute little cottage next to Stacy about a dozen years ago. We only knew her on a casual hi, how you doing basis. Although Amy worked at Unum for a while and got to know her better than I. We lived next to her for about six years and we both think she was such a wonderful, special, special person. I wished we had of gotten closer to her. Such a sad, sad, early end to someone who had so much more to offer of what this world so desperately needs. We are just two of many with heavy hearts.

To Stacey's Family,
Today's service was a testement to the positive impact Stacey had on many, many lives. I know how fortunate I am to have known her as a caring friend and colleague at Unum.

My husband Tracy and I knew Stacey for years at our barn in West Buxton. She so enjoyed her wonderful American Saddlebred colt that she purchased as a yearling and trained herself. We know she is with her Lord in Heaven. No more night...no more pain...we expect her to greet us with her wonderful smile and her open arms when we see her again in Heaven!

Words simply cannot express how saddened I am by the loss of my dear friend, Stacey. I have such fond memories of the many, many times over the past 15+ years we spent together while traveling on business for our respective companies. It was always an adventure to spend time in the "off hours" with her -- she had quite a knack for finding the most interesting jewelry or unique scarves, the funkiest shoes or most amazing handbags! And she always knew where to find a great restaurant no matter what city she might be in. She found one such gem just two short weeks ago when we were in NYC together. I am so grateful to have had that one last special dinner with Stacey. It was a three hour event and, as she often did, she spoke of her parents and how blessed she was to have them nearby. She talked about her beloved niece, Elke, and little Nina. She was so very proud of them all. And, of course, she beamed when showing off a picture of Samson and bringing me up to date on the exciting work they did together. Although far too short, she led a full and meaningful life -- and in her own Stacey-like way, she left her mark! I will miss her so very, very much. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I am so sorry for the loss of Stacey. She gave us a place setting for our wedding.I will always think of her on every holiday/special time when we use it.I always thought my little boys would have the opportunity to meet her one day. Unfortunately, that will not occur. However, when we look to the heavens and see a shining star gleaming a bit brighter than the rest,we will remember and speak of Stacey, one of their Nana's dearest friends. Her time on this earth was much too brief for the sake of her loved ones, but hopefully some solace is found in the fact that the choir of angels has a beautiful new member, who truly served as a genuine example of how God wishes us to live.

Prayers and love for Stacey and all those who miss her.She will always be remembered in the hearts of so many.

I can barely think about this loss. Stacey will always be in my heart. We made many business trips together; worked long, hard hours together; and laughed a whole lot. Her light will stay with everyone with whom she came in contact. Several years ago, I took her to meet my dad one night when she was in Columbia. He was very ill, but he smiled from ear to ear because he finally got to meet her after all the years he heard about her from me. He thanked her for her prayers for him. She came to Columbia often before the UNUM/Provident merger and we always went straight to Colonial's cafeteria to get grits. She would load them down with Tabasco sauce. When we went to dinner this past September, we made sure to go somewhere that served grits. I always told her that she was kidnapped at birth and taken to Maine. She really was a Southerner at heart. I was looking forward to a conference call with her this Wednesday so that we could talk and she could teach me, yet again, something that I needed to do my job. She was always so smart and so pretty. I've never known anyone who was such a positive influence on everyone who met her. I feel like I know the whole family although I never met them. She loved her family and I think Elke was more like a daughter than a niece. She was so proud of all her family. I know we all feel blessed to have known Stacey and regret that we will no longer see her smile and lean on her in difficult times. We can take comfort in knowing that she's in a much better place and she will be waiting to see us again.
