I never met “Cass” in person, but because of Amateur Radio, we became close friends. We exchanged letters and phone calls often, and he was my mentor when it came to writing about Ham radio. I will miss him dearly, and I extend my deepest sympathies to Virginia and the all of Hugh’s family. Rest in peace, my friend. 73, Paul VE1DX
