"What a legacy! What an awesome blessing! Mr. Francis was our neighbor on 40th Street since about 1952. He watched us grow up and helped grow us up. He was good friends with the Barber Family and our Aunt Hanner (his dance partner who left us at 93 years of age). He was there for us when we were being taught to ride a bike as he rode his bike. When my mother would visit him, he'd ask about all 8 of us by name. Still sharp at 111 years of age. You are a blessed family to have had him with you and we were blessed to have him in our lives. May God richly bless the family that took good care of Mr. Francis. You will be eternally blessed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family."

"To the breaved Francis Family
It's been a pleasure knowing him. I've attended many functions and outside activities with him and enjoyed every occasion. He loved to have fun especially dancing. Whenever I visited CAL, he always knew and gave me a call. I had the pleasure of visiting with him in July, 2008. He will be deeply missed.
Love to all the Francis families. The Collins Family- Emerson, Dolores, Son, Daughter -n-law,Granddaughter"

"I am honored to say that i knew Mr. Francis! My great-grandmother Viola Cordier grew up with him in New Orleans, she also relocated to sacramento. Mr. Francis would frequently visit us at our home on Santa cruz way which was right around the corner from his home. He would make peach brandy for our grandmother and every time she prepared gumbo she made sure to send Georgie Francis a bowl!!! I also remember him being the grand marshall at the St Peter Claver's mardi gras dances!! what a blessing for your family to have such a wonderful man for a father, grandfather, great and great-great grandfather!"
